Service was top notch! Food was incredible!!! Brussels sprouts with chili sauce were so good, along with the mushroom and cheese crepe and steak frites. And to top it off we had the crème brûlée, and oh my heavens!!!! Ty he freshest I've ever had!

The environment was spectacular, it’s a very calm and tranquil place. The service was amazing and our server Elizabeth was very helpful and friendly. The croque madame and crème brûlée were some of the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend.

What a wonderful meal. As well as being a small comfortable restaurant, with a wait staff the accommodated our every request, the meal was the best so far in New Orleans, ever. I had the grilled Salmon and my wife had the savory ham and cheese crepe. Both were delicious. Izzat will be in my top three list of restaurants in New Orleans.

Finally a nice casual inexpensive French restaurant! The bread they use is outstanding and the sandwich was balanced. Not too heavy but very filling and satisfying. Will definitely be back as this hit the spot.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Izzat. We got the Monte Cristo and the French onion soup with a side of fries. Everything tasted amazing. The broth of the soup was perfect! The cocktails were also really good especially the Bloody Mary. And on top of all that, the customer service was excellent which is hard to find these days. Service was also very fast. We are frequent NOLA visitors and will definitely be back!

The food was so incredible that we returned for breakfast the next morning, and have plans to come back again for dinner. One of the best bloody marys I’ve ever tasted, and the French onion soup was perfectly savory with amazing bread over it. Will be returning!

french dip was so amazing! the au jus was incredibly flavorful, fries were crispy and fresh. went for my girlfriends bday and she had a birthday pin on her shirt for money, she didn’t have any dollars and they gave us one to start her off which was so incredibly sweet. great conversation with the owner as well, she took time to actually talk to us and not just ask how everything was. 10/10 will come again!

My wife wanted steak frites and this place delivered on each dish. The Brussels sprouts were perfectly done! Yummy!

After a long day walking around and a bad meal, this place was right near our hotel and we were so grateful service was wonderful. The food is so delicious and so fresh and so nice we sat outside the crème brûlée the steak treats the salad highly recommended.

I visited Izzat a few different times during my work trip to NOLA. The service and food were top notch! The place is little and quaint. The team was very attentive, friendly, and provided wonderful service. I had the iced latte with oat milk, French toast, French onion soup, and crème brûlée. Everything was on point and delicious, especially for the price. I will definitely return to Izzat when visiting NOLA again.

A delicious breakfast of assorted Benedicts and crepes for breakfast 2 days prior convinced us to return for the Steak Frites and the lamb chops. We were equally impressed with the quality of the dinner. This was a small restaurant and had some quality cocktails but only house wines. However it does have a BYOB option with a $10 corkage fee.

My friend and I stumbled upon this place while walking in the French Quarter and we are so happy we did!! It is the cutest little place and it really feels like you are in Paris or something. We got the eggs benedict, croque madam, the side potatoes, and split the strawberries and cream crepe. Everything was sooo good! The staff was also all so sweet and super attentive.

Would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting or wants a great meal! It was the perfect end to our trip and we will definitely be coming back 🙂

We stumbled into this intimate space on accident and it ended up being one of the best impromptu decisions we could of made G and Tori were so warm and welcoming The food was what we didn’t know we were craving and the classic New Orleans music in the background made us not want to leave. We did indeed come back the very next day. My girlfriend came back TWICE for the French lentil soup (and she doesn’t ever eat her veggies).

AMAZING 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Izzat came highly recommended by a friend and wow it certainly did not disappoint. It’s casual , fine dining . Everything from the food to the staff to the atmosphere is first class. We first visited for brunch and then visited again for dinner . The salmon was seriously delicious, the steak sandwich with french dip was amazing. You just try the Brussel sprouts. We also had the eggs for brunch which were incredible. The chef came out to chat to us about the dishes he was so lovely . The staff are super friendly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough .

Love this place! Great alternative for a quick or leisurely meal with excellent quality food, helpful waitstaff and airy ambience. Hard to find anything like this in the touristy area around the French Quarter. They also serve wine and cocktails. Prices are very reasonable.

Nous avons découvert ce petit restaurant en parcourant à pieds le quartier français. Grâce aux commentaires déjà publiés nous avons décidé de tester la cuisine 'Française ' de chez IZZART. Accueil très sympathique et carte menu simple mais vous y trouverez de très bons plats et desserts : croque monsieur et madame excellents , crêpes sallées , pains perdus et crêpes sucrées (Sweet crêpes excellentes ) et des salades.
Nous sommes revenus plusieurs fois et le Staff nous accueillait comme à la maison. Il y a quelques tables à l'extérieur si vous le souhaitez.

What makes Izzat even more of a gem is how it compares to other nearby spots. Just up the road, there was a huge queue outside Ruby Slipper, but honestly, you’re far better off heading straight to Izzat. No waiting around, and the food is on another level.

We actually tried Ruby Slipper the next day (even with a booking), and it was a completely different experience, long delays, we weren’t seated, and the hostess was quite rude. A stark contrast.

We enjoyed Izzat so much that we’ve already booked to go back for dinner, which says everything.

If you’re in New Orleans and want a fantastic breakfast without the hassle, Izzat is the place to go. Highly recommend.

An excellent alternative to Ruby Slipper. We had breakfast here and it was delicious, less processed and much tastier. The poached egg was perfect on the avocado toast, and the crepes were delicious. Also, the best coffee I’ve had in New Orleans. Also very friendly and attentive service- highly recommended!!

Izzat has become my new favorite restaurant! I love the omelets and the Eggs Sardou. The Croque Mademoiselle is a yummy vegetarian sandwich. My friend loved her mussels in white wine broth. Yummy fries! Vegetarian and gluten-free items are labeled on the menu. Great for brunch, lunch, or dinner! The service is friendly. I like the outdoor seating but inside is cute, too!

This is a small restaurant in the French Quarter that is known for its steak frites. We had breakfast with my wife ordering a crepe while I ordered oatmeal and a ham and egg sandwich on sourdough. All the dishes were tasty and arrived quickly. Their coffee is outstanding. Izzat is well worth a visit during your French Quarter stay.

Wonderful place. Wonderful people. Absolutely WONDERFUL food! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed eating dinner at Izzat. We were just passing by and it caught our attention. The owner was there and was so kind and attentive as was our server. We ordered some local favorites, which are highlighted on the menu. And some apps. The French onion soup is no joke. One of the best we've ever tasted. Lots of bold flavors and the cheese! Wow. Followed by roasted brussel sprouts and a charcuterie board. All the flavors popped, and the portions were just right. The honey on the board was a nice touch and we poured it on pretty much everything. There were also dates! Great addition to the meats and cheeses. Highly recommend this! I finished it all off with the salmon plate with fresh asparagus, mashed potatoes, and a white wine sauce with capers that blew my mind. Absolutely delicious and a perfect 10 put of 10. I've eaten at 100's of seafood restaurants on the West coast that could not serve this dish any better. A wonderful experience for sure. You're really missing out on a great dining experience in NOLA if you pass this one up.

After 10 days on the road, eating only BBQ and fried food with a notable absence of vegetables, dinner at Izzat was a real pleasure. Perfectly seasoned food, an abundance of well cooked vegetables and an attentive owner. I can honestly say that is restaurant is so far removed from the high salt, high fat and ‘same thing’ food that is most of the US South and you should search it out and enjoy.

My daughters love crepes, and absolutely loved the crepes at Izzat. Presentation, flavor, service and outdoor seating was all perfect. Short stay for us in New Orleans, but we would 100% recommend and will come back in the morning before we leave.

Came across this place when looking for a brunch spot, and it did not disappoint! We got the Nutella crepe and ham crepe, as well as mimosas, and everything was fabulous. Also a very friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Izzat is a hidden gem on a quiet block in the quarter. The food is excellent and the team there is really putting their hearts into their work. I got the salmon which was perfectly cooked in a light creamy lemon sauce. I got the creme brulee for dessert and it was pure heaven and not small! The izzat absinthe drink is spectacular. I'll be going back for that often. It has a wonderful light flavor and none of the bitterness one usually gets in an absinthe cocktail.

The food here is amazing! Loved every bite
