Located in the French Quarter, IZZAT offers the balance in quality and technique of French cuisine set in simple elegance, without breaking the bank.

We are a collective who came together expressly to found a restaurant where we are rooted in mutual honor and respect to serve the best food and atmosphere.
We chose French because it is a cuisine based on quality ingredients and stellar technique. Coinciding, we noticed that New Orleans surprisingly lacks affordable French cuisine, and we felt inspired to make quality and elegance available to everyone at any time.
Armed with our best intentions, we’ve poured our hearts and souls into IZZAT, and we welcome you to join us.
This was outstanding food! French in style but with a twist...a must have is their Brussel sprouts in a sweet chili sauce! The Croque Monsieur was delicious as well. We had a party of 5 and every one of loved it! The people that worked there were so nice and accommodating! A great NOLA restaurant !
I've been to Izzat several times now, and I've honestly never had a dish I didn't enjoy. The food is consistently great. The French dip is a must, the steak and frites were cooked perfectly, and even the salmon was spot on. I keep coming back because everything is just done right. Next on my list to try are the crepes -- and I have a feeling they won't disappoint either.
The staff were so sweet, accommodating, and attentive. The food was stellar!!! I ordered the mussels because I knew how much my wife loves them and she demanded we cancel our reservation at a well known steak house tonight so we can go back again for dinner. The cafe is at 407 Iberville, just a stone's throw away from Canal Place near the heart of the French Quarter. The sourdough bread is exquisite and locally sourced. Pricing is extremely affordable compared to other local options while the quality is 5-star level. The chefs are classically trained and you can taste it in the food! Give this one a try when you're in NOLA!!
I was looking for a late night dessert and found Izzat. The strawberry banana crepe was perfect. The location was great too. Convenient but quiet. You can sit outside in peace and then walk one block back to bustling Canal. Great service too. I'll be back for a real meal. The guy with the French dip at the next table looked happy.
