Great restaurant you must visit in New Orleans. Amazing staff and incredibly well-cooked food. I stayed in the city for four days for a conference and made two visits to Izzat. Wish I could make another one. Tried a fish dish and a croque mademoiselle, both were amazing. 미국에서 먹었던 모든 음식을 통틀어서 제일 맛있는 식당입니다 뉴올리언스에 놀러와서 로컬 음식에 살짝 질릴 때쯤 가면 좋을 것 같아요 음식이 자극적이거나 지나치게 짜고 달지 않고 재료 본연의 맛을 잘 느낄 수 있어요 가게 분위기도 좋고 점원 분들도 너무 친절해요.

We loved this modest and cozy little French restaurant in New Orlean’s French Quarter. The food and service were outstanding. I had the Steak Frites, and my wife had a Monte Cristo. They were both delicious, and the soft mellow jazz playing in the background made the meal even better.

Fabulous crepes and a different selection of breakfast foods to other places. Very light, not greasy.

Went for crepes, but got so much more. First, delicious food and in such a quaint location. The crepes are excellent and the service is really special. The staff made sure to talk to us about our experience and made sure everything was perfect.

I haven't been to this city in 10 years and when I say I felt right at home, I mean it. The egg sandwich was to die for and it's not expensive either. It's right outside the French quarter so not to busy, trust me when I say you must stop by.

We have been here twice and both times food and service were outstanding. We like the French style menu and there are many really great choices. We’ll be back.

I've been to Izzat several times now, and I've honestly never had a dish I didn't enjoy. The food is consistently great. The French dip is a must, the steak and frites were cooked perfectly, and even the salmon was spot on. I keep coming back because everything is just done right. Next on my list to try are the crepes -- and I have a feeling they won't disappoint either.

We came here for our last meal of our New Orleans trip—a French restaurant with over 600 Google reviews and a perfect 5-star rating.
Whenever I visit a French restaurant, I always want to order a fish dish, so I chose the Fish Meunière, and it was absolutely wonderful. The onion soup and even the salad dressing were excellent as well.
The French dip had perfectly moist bread, and the filling was, of course, flawless.
To finish, the crème brûlée was perfect—the thickness of the caramelized sugar layer and the jelly-like set of the custard were cooked to absolute perfection.

The server was incredibly sweet and kind, and the restaurant had a clean, lovely atmosphere that we really enjoyed🫶🏻

This is new restaurant so you should feel lucky if you found this place because I did!
Please check all the reviews and select the menu you would like.(since there is so many good review with details) I really wanted to try everything but we are only party of two so tried french onion, french dip and fish Meurniere( first time) and cream brulee.
Everything was really amazing. Outside vibe is nice. Inside is about 6 tables in front more dining area in the back. I would recommend to anyone who is visiting NOLA !

Last night was the Joan of Arc parade. My friend and I have made this event a sort of tradition. We used to go to Justine on this night, but they closed back in the spring 2025 sadly. We needed to find a new place place that served French food to keep with the theme of the evening. Izzat ticked all of the boxes.

This is a quaint place tucked in between N. Peters and Decatur Streets on Iberville. They opened back in August and deserve some recognition. My friend had the Fish Meurniere (sorry I can't remember the type of fish) and I had the Croque Madame. My friend shared a bit of her fish which was dreamy. The fish was cooked perfectly. It was nicely balanced with too much sauce on a bed of potatoes. The portion size was generous. She ate every bit of it. My dish is one of the best Croque Madame's I have ever had in NOLA. The bread is from Ayu Bakehouse which was nice and soft. Lot of times the crust comes out too hard. The crust were just crunchy enough. I also enjoyed their Espresso Martini. It's made with Illy expresso which if you don't know is a premium Italian coffee brand, known for its signature blend of 100% Arabica beans. The better the coffee the better the espresso martini.

The weather was perfect for terrace dining. It's off the beat and path, but usually those are the best places. I highly recommend Izzat for causal yet very well made French food.

Fantastic Steak Frites and great ambiance with great seating arrangement. Will be back soon!

I had an incredible experience at Izzat New Orleans Cafe. This French-inspired spot is absolutely beautiful and clearly run with a lot of pride. I ordered the French Dip, and it was delicious; the housemade au jus was a highlight. I finished with a top-notch Illy cappuccino and their homemade creme brûlée, which was excellent.

The service was super attentive and friendly. I had a chance to speak with the owner, who is very nice and easy to talk to; you can really tell how much she cares about the quality of the cafe. I also saw the crepes being served and they looked tempting. I’ll definitely be trying those on my next visit!

An amazing spot for a nice, reasonably priced, kid friendly meal! The food is very fresh with locally sourced bread, teas and coffee. I had ham and cheese crepes that were LOADED with diced ham and fresh cheese with a side of house greens dressed perfectly. Kids had Nutella and cream crepes and the French toast. Both were completely eaten by my finicky kids. Wife had the omelet that was perfectly paired with lyonase potatoes and fresh local bread. Service was impeccable, prices very reasonable and staff is friendly and professional. One of the owners stopped by our table to thank us for coming in. They've only been open for about 6mo but I think they have a winning formula and we wish them success!

We are locals and couldn’t be more thrilled to have found such a delicious and high quality gem as this! I had the steak fritte (perfection) and my daughter had a savory crepe which she absolutely loved. So well priced for the quality. Clearly a lot of love goes into the food and the lovely atmosphere. There is so much bad food in the Quarters now that when one of these wonderful spots pop up, we’ve just got to spread the word. Can’t wait to comeback again!

We were looking for a French breakfast restaurant our first morning in New Orleans, and I am so glad that Izzat's popped up in Google maps. It was a short walk from Maison Dupuy, and it was exactly what we were hoping for! The owners are so warm and hospitable, the decor is beautiful, and the food is exquisite! My stomach was a little rough from early indulgence, so I opted for the avocado toast. It was the BEST avocado toast I have ever had! The grilled the giant piece of baguette perfectly, which added to the complexity and deliciousness of all of the fresh toppings. Yum! Our daughters loved the crepes, both savory and sweet, and my husband enjoyed eggs three ways: Florentine, benedict, and sardu. The cappuccino was also delicious. Next time we definitely want to try to the Croque Mademoiselle and Croque Masseur, or maybe the Monte Cristo. So much yum, so little time! It really felt like we were back in a cafe we visited in France! Highly recommend!

The BEST food I have had in New Orleans, and I have tried lots. The wait staff is precious, kind, and amazing. The food is remarkably delicious and authentic.

We stopped by on New Year’s Day, and the service in comparison to everywhere else was superb! We were seated, ordered, and received our food in less than 15 minutes. The french omelette was delicious, and the sourdough bread was the best I have ever tasted. So glad we found this new brunch spot!!

This was the perfect way to end out NOLA trip. Our server Elizabeth was so accommodating and friendly. The food was very well done and arrived quickly, good portion sizes for cost and a wide variety of food for brunch and dinner as well. Its a small restaurant so large parties would be very challenging but for a small brunch it was perfect. Very highly recommended.

Great hidden gem, went for a quick dinner before a show at the saenger and had a great reasonably priced meal. They have gluten free and dairy free options, and were knowledgeable about cross contamination for our gluten free diner.

While visiting New Orleans, our concierge recommended Izzat New Orleans French Bistro, and we are so glad we took their advice. We went on Christmas morning for brunch and couldn’t have been more pleased. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was absolutely wonderful. The French omelet was authentic and perfectly prepared, and the French toast was truly divine. I highly recommend Izzat to anyone traveling to the French Quarter or the Business District. Best brunch restaurant in New Orleans downtown, every bite was delicious fresh and made with so much care. Monte Cristo was the star of the show the side salad as well so yummy.

My daughter and I went there Christmas Day for dinner. We ordered and shared the French Onion Soup, Brussel Sprouts and the Lamb-chops. It was our first visit there and would definitely visit again. Oh!!!! Please don’t forget the crepe. It was very scrumptious.

I always love going to cozy restaurants where you can enjoy good French bistro food, and Izzat is one of them in New Orleans. Their French onion soup, steak frites, Fish meunière, and French dip were all delicious. We also enjoyed the strawberry crêpe and crème brûlée. Everyone working there is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was quick and perfect. Somewhere between comfort food and fine dining.

If you are fed up with seafood, gumbo and jambalaya, this place offers different mostly french influenced choices. Just a modest setting but beautiful attentive service. The waitress and the chef went out of their way to adapt the menu choice to accommodate my lactose issues. These guys haven't been in business long and deserve to do well.

We stopped here by chance and absolutely loved all foods we ordered. We had beef dip, Burger, roast chicken and the highlight of all which was Eggs Sardou…. Delicious, clean and friendly service 🍳🍔🥪🥙 Excellent food.

The staff were so sweet, accommodating, and attentive. The food was stellar!!! I ordered the mussels because I knew how much my wife loves them and she demanded we cancel our reservation at a well known steak house tonight so we can go back again for dinner. The cafe is at 407 Iberville, just a stone's throw away from Canal Place near the heart of the French Quarter. The sourdough bread is exquisite and locally sourced. Pricing is extremely affordable compared to other local options while the quality is 5-star level. The chefs are classically trained and you can taste it in the food! Give this one a try when you're in NOLA!!

Our family of 4 stopped in when walking by and the food was really good. We had the fish meurniere, grilled salmon, croque monsieur, and cheese and mushroom crepe, and we all thought the food was excellent. The chef was clearly very good, the service was good, and it was served quickly. We’re hoping to go back for breakfast. Definitely recommended.

I was looking for a late night dessert and found Izzat. The strawberry banana crepe was perfect. The location was great too. Convenient but quiet. You can sit outside in peace and then walk one block back to bustling Canal. Great service too. I'll be back for a real meal. The guy with the French dip at the next table looked happy.

It was so fire. I got the fish, my sister got the salmon. Those potatoes were the best I've had in recent(and not recent) memory. Can't go wrong with a roasted(grilled?) carrot. I ate all of it, im super full, this place is great.

Small French restaurant. They only had Blue Moon on draft and one red, white, and rosé on the menu. We ordered white wine and started with calamari and spinach artichoke dip. Both were good, and the calamari came with a nice sauce that was a bit on the spicier side.

We both ordered the steak frites. I ordered my steak rare and it was quite quite rare. I thought the fries were really good.

The restaurant is small and it didn't seem like the cleanest place. The waitress was nice but kept interrupting the conversation in an awkward way.

This is still a 4 star experience and I'd recommend, but I find it a bit odd that the review average is so high with so many perfect reviews.

Recently visited in New Orleans on a work trip — walked past on day 2 and by day 4 I had to stop in for lunch. Absolute perfection.
The French onion soup was perfect, warm & savory. The Monte Cristo was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had — the napkin tells the story, no good sandwich should leave a napkin in good standing!
And the service was delightful. Already planning my next visit & telling all my friends about this place.

This place is new and still getting it's space in order but we loved it. Small and intimate with great food. Our server, Elizabeth, was friendly and efficient. The owner stopped by and chatted about the restaurant and their vision. The salmon was excellent and beautifully presented. Crepes were large and filling and the Monte Cristo was very tasty.

I don't know how there wasn't a line out the door. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was so cozy, and the service was fantastic. These were by far the best lamb chops I have ever had. I don't usually visit the same restaurant twice in a trip but I will be making an exception for this one!

My wife and I stumbled across this fairly new restaurant just a block off of Canal. It isn’t pretentious, but has some lovely French inspired food. We both had their take on a French dip, which was on grilled bread, brushed with a little rosemary, and a wonderful and intense jus, which also had rosemary notes. This sandwich was outstanding. Full stop.

We both ate every bite, and really enjoyed a Demi-carafe of red wine with it. For the French Quarter, the prices are very reasonable, the service was warm and personable, and it was a short walk from the Marriot. Highly recommended! Give the a try if you’re in the area and are interested in giving a cool little local spot a try.

I have been on the search for an amazing French dip sandwich. I have found i it at Izzats. An adorable French styled cafe tucked away on Iberville. The Brioche bread perfectly toasted, the seasoned roast and cheese deliciously seasoned. The homemade Au ju sauce rich depth.
The staff are some of the most courteous I have seen especially in the quarter. I will be returning to try the French onion soup. You will not be disappointed

12/15/2025: had the burger (4.5/5) and fries today. It was a decent burger, but I’ve enjoyed all my previous meals much more. Nothing bad about it, I just wasn’t wowed like I have been the 3 times before.

11/19/2025: had the ham and cheese crepe (5/5) which comes with a house side salad. 10/10 delicious

11/17/2025: I had the Monte Cristo (5/5) for lunch. It is a hot ham and cheese on French toast, served with a house salad. Both the sandwich and the salad were amazing.

11/11/2025: I stopped by for lunch. French Dip (5/5) with shoestring fries was delicious! Full of flavor. The roast beef, the au jus, and the bread each had their own distinctive flavors. The shoestring fries were hot, crispy, and the perfect size. I will definitely be coming again.

The food was delicious!! I had a Croque Madame, which is pictured. The friends I was with all loved their food as well.

A very lovely local French cuisine restaurant that has lots of character with GREAT food and sweet service. It is small but has a good atmosphere

The French dip melted in my mouth. Tender roast beef, stretchy cheese, and deep flavorful jus means I'll have a hard time going back to any other French dip ever again. Oh, and the bread! Crispy, delicious, and fresh from an acclaimed local bakery, Ayu Bakehouse.

Don't skip the coffee either. Some of the best espresso I've had in the city.

Ambience was perfect for a lovely, intimate Friday night date with my fiancé, and our server Ji was really kind.

Our only issue with our experience there (and it's not one I'm changing the 5-star rating for, I just wanted to include it as some feedback for the restaurant) is that the YouTube holiday playlist they had on was pretty clearly some AI slop -- just mangled versions of Frank Sinatra holiday classics. Please support real musicians by using playlists that feature real music!

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. Found by chance just walking through looking for somewhere to eat. I had the Monte cristo and french onion soup. My wife had the steak and a salad. EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect, even down to the delicious salad dressing they make. The owners were wonderful people and answered any questions we had. Said they just opened within the last few months. I would recommend this place to any one and everyone.

All the life and charm of New Orleans on a quieter side street. What a find!!! The BEST food we had in the French Quarter. Sweet Chili glazed fried Brussels and Steak Frites are a MUST! The best service, everyone was so kind!

Great little bistro at he edge of the French Quarter. The crepes are great and the French Dip also.

Decided to try Izzat because I have a very picky 17 year old who doesn’t like seafood, creole,Cajun or blackened foods. He had the monte cristo sandwich, which he’s never had before and absolutely loved it. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak frites, both were prepared perfectly. The fries were delicious! The owners were very friendly and genuinely appreciative of us being there! Highly recommended!

This place is truly a gem! Excellent food and very good service! Friendly and attentive staff. We ordered the French onion soup and the Roast chicken dinner. Soup has great flavor! Chicken is so flavorful and tender. Chicken was paired with delicious thin sliced grilled potatoes, onions, and rosemary spice, along with fresh seasoned green beans. If you get a chance check this place out! You will not be disappointed! Will definitely be back next time we visit!

Amazing food. You can sit outside if you like and soak up the French Quarter atmosphere. The owner personaly see's to your needs. Will be back often.

Brussels we’re great. Croque madamoiselle (sp). With artichoke, spinach and cheese on sourdough is good. Chocolate crepe to die for.
