New Orleans’ accessible French cuisine

So good! We ordered this for pick up and brought it back to our hotel. My husband got the Monte Cristo and I got the Croque Monsieur and boyyyy was it amazing. We were looking for something not super heavy after a ton of fried food. We got the Brussels with sweet chili and YUM! Then my sandwich and the side salad was EXACTLY what I needed. 10/10 would recommend.

If you're ever in New Orleans, you'd have to come try Izzat! Just one street over Canal, they recently open this place a couple of months ago and we had a pleasure to dine with them for brunch! We got the French Onion Sandwich, French Omelet, and Banana & Creame Crepe! Everything was amazing! The Omelet was so soft and fluffy The French Onion Sandwich was very flavorful, the chef really balance the flavors very well, nothing overpowering the other! The Banana & Creame Crepe was to die for, very delicious and light!

The staff is amazing as well! This is in a sense, family owned and everyone was so friendly! Definitely come here when you get the chance, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing service I got a mushroom omelette with potatoes on the side with a latte.... It was delicious!

Out of state guest here...I ended up dining at Izzat after another restaurant had too long of a wait. What a pleasant surprise! I had the farmer's fold. The food was absolutely amazing. It was very fresh, like farm-to-table. The staff were very attentive and friendly, even though the place was packed. The ambiance was great, as well. I'll definitely return when back in New Orleans.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! I ordered a sweet strawberry crepe that was simply delicious, and my boyfriend had a savory mushroom crepe it was amazing! Our server Elizabeth was very friendly and kept our coffee filled. She was so kind and attentive. The coffee was strong and flavorful, the perfect touch to brighten and wake up the day. The outdoor seating was dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Friendly fast service and the food was delicious. We went for breakfast and split the french toast - so good it didn't need butter or syrup - and an egg dish but the star of the show were the potatoes, thinly sliced with rosemary.

The staff was super nice, the cafe is so cute. The food was amazing and they got it out relatively quick. Would absolutely recommend this place; they've only been open a couple months

Great new restaurant in the French Quarter. Passionfruit mimosas with Eggs Benedict was a perfect NOLA way to start the day. It's been open 4 months but will be a favorite spot for us. Great service. Attentive staff.

Having breakfast at Izzat. You have to stop and eat here. The best omelet I've ever eaten. It's the Farmer's fold. Exceptional! Great flavors And the waitress was so attentive. Can't wait to come back. Great ambience too.

I did enjoy Mussels and Frites , they were delicious.
The prices are very reasonable.

Really delicious breakfast. Top quality ingredients with great flavor. Def worth a visit for breakfast. Not your standard American diner breakfast fare, but is a step up.

I work in the French Quarter and saw advertising for the new French restaurant Izzat, which opened in August of this year. I decided to try them out. The cozy location on Iberville Street between Decatur and N. Peters was very bright and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The owner made sure to greet me and the other two customers who were dining. Two of the three of us tried the French Dip sandwich. The sandwich was on fresh toasted bread with a generous amount of shredded cooked roast (not cold cuts). It was served with shoestring fries and the incredibly flavorful "au jus" made in house.

Was walking by when one of the owners (Ji) caught us and said they recently opened & would love for us to come in to eat. My son is a notoriously picky eater so French cuisine sounded like it may be a bust but we saw fruit & fries on the menu so we knew we could get some form of food in him!
My daughter got a banana crepe & my husband and I shared the Monte Cristo, everything was delicious. Even the fries were super yummy! The crepe had my daughter asking to come again before we even left 😊
If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop in because the food & service are great!

The most amazing French dip sandwich ever!! Normally I’m not one for them but this was out of this world. Kid friendly and the staff were so sweet and accommodating!

I came across this place from google search for crepes and it absolutely exceeded expectations. I ordered the ham and cheese crepe which came with a house salad, and because I was hungry added a side of fries. They were all delightful and I couldn’t pick a favorite between the 3 items. The crepe was generously loaded with ham, the salad had an amazing light house sauce, and the fries were perfectly fresh and crispy. I also ordered a latte and was pleased to see they carry Illy coffee which in a lucky coincidence is my favorite and what I drink at home. Great experience!

Such a great surprise! Came for a breakfast snack, but ended up getting the French dip. So delicious! The food is incredible, the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend. The menu has some great French staples, at surprisingly affordable prices for the French Quarter.

This is a cute little French bistro, I throughly enjoyed my entree of grilled salmon with grilled asparagus and potatoes. A much needed and refreshing addition to the French Quarter! Highly recommend.

Izzat is a gem in the French Quarter! The food is amazing and reasonably priced. I had the roast chicken (delicious), and there are so many other dishes I want to come back and try. Great spot for French food without the fine-dining prices. I went for dinner but there were some fabulous breakfast and lunch items on the menu as well.

This place!!! The grilled salmon was quite literally amazing! That sauce with the capers and the mashed potatoes and asparagus cooked to perfection. The owner and her staff were accommodating and personable. I’ll be coming back for those lamb chops soon!

I have a lamb chops and they were absolutely fantastic. This is a very much a hidden gem in the quarter.

This evening, myself and 29 friends descended upon Izzat and quite literally filled every single seat in the restaurant. We fully expected a wait for food with such a large group, but what happened instead was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff handled us with flawless efficiency. Our meals arrived quickly, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor.

The food was absolutely divine, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and the service was warm, gracious, and attentive in every way. The camaraderie and hospitality of the entire team made us feel like honored guests at a private celebration.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would happily give it twice. The prices are refreshingly affordable, especially for French cuisine of this caliber. Do yourself a favor and dine here. You will walk out smiling, satisfied, and already planning your return.

Izzat is a new up in coming affordable French Restaurant with food that would turn the heads of Frenchman! I had the French dip with fries with the Au Ju. It was to die for, the sandwich was delicious, fries are addicting, and I could have a glass of just the Ju! They are making real waves out here in the french quarter and I will be coming back with friends!!! Thank you for the wonderful experience! 😁

Sweet little hole in the wall for an amazing, personal lunch. Affordable and friendly! We loved the French dip sandwich and it was enough food to split between me and my husband. Their espresso is also really good!

The restaurant is newly opened with an affordable menu for breakfast and lunch. The French Dip sandwich is pretty good with the Jus sauce. I highly recommend 👌

I stumbled upon Izzat while walking to another restaurant for breakfast. I had originally wanted crepes and the creperie I walked to from my hotel was temporarily closed. As I neared by second-choice breakfast restaurant, Izzat’s menu caught my eye because they had crepes. Apparently they had just opened 5 days ago and I was one of their first customers. The owner is very friendly and excited for her new restaurant to succeed. My ham and cheese crepe was delicious - light and flaky around the edges with a nice fresh salad on the side. My latte was very good too, although I do prefer them iced, which wasn’t available. I recommend you give this cute little place a shot. Apparently their French inspired dinners are fantastic.

Amazing food and welcoming manager. Our server was sweet and the service was quick. Hidden in the French quarter, and newly opened, it’s a welcome surprise, and we hope to be back!!

Brand new French Quarter lunch spot! The Monte Cristo sandwich might be the best Monte Cristo in New Orleans, and the Spinach & Artichoke Crepe is amazing. Both came with fresh greens & house-made vinaigrette. Light, clean, and polished atmosphere with friendly service—plus one of the best affordable French Quarter dining finds we’ve had in a while.
